A 23 year-old final year university student studying Psychology. He is hard-working, bright, personable and deep-thinking, sometimes to the detriment of his relationships.

Sue’s mother. A 65 year-old with the verve of a 21 year-old. She is
the clear matriarch of the family and possesses a ‘mother earth’ presence. With a
dry sense of humour, she speaks without fear of retribution.

Partner of Chris. A 22-year-old third year university student
majoring in Economics and Women’s Studies. Attractive and with a quiet dignity,
she is the product of a family with money and has a maturity that belies her formative
years.

A 20-year-old recent migrant to the city. She possesses a
candour and friendliness indicative of her rural upbringing. She tells it like it is.
