Eaton Magoon,Jr.

Eaton Magoon, Jr. author, Luricist and composer of 13 Daughters, was born and raised in Hawaii. He left the Islands to attend Yale University and, upon his graduation in 1945, returned to Hawaii. Having then already composed many hit songs, recorded by Capitol, MGM, and Columbia Records, he next turned to the musical theater. His first production, 49th Star, was a great success in Hawaii.
