Come from Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.
Is it possible to purchase a single script and score for this musical? I have an IB Theatre student who is working on a directing/design project and would like access to the official script.

Hello! I was curious (for the purpose of high school level one act competition) Is this musical available to be condensed into a 45 minute long one act show? We plan to potentially do that, if available, in the fall of 2026.
I am eagerly awaiting the release of these rights. I’m hoping to start my own community theatre in Ottawa, and this would be the perfect flagship performance. A Canadian musical to start off just seems so fitting.

Hi! My school would like to do Come From Away next spring (May 2025) and we were wondering if there was an approximate for when the rights for Come From Away would be able to be bought. Do you know if they’ll be out before January 2025?
We are trying to pick a show for Spring 2023 and were interested in doing Come From Away. I know we don't have a release date but would there be a chance it will be ready by then?
