Belle volunteers to stay instead, but this brings Gaston and the villagers to Kill the Beast. Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts connive to bring Belle and the Beast closer, as they wish to be Human Again, along with the Wardrobe and the rest of the enchanted characters.
