Spelling Bee Bleachers

This set of bleachers was made and used in our production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Our spellers, including the audience member spellers, sat comfortably on the bleachers. The whole unit was spun during PANDEMONIUM by two of our cast member spellers while four to five people were sitting on it. The wheels lock for stability when not being spun. There is a phone attached to the back, which Leaf Coneybear used for the phone call he received informing him of his participation in the Bee. Additionally, there is a pvc pipe sleeve hidden under the top level where Marcy Park accessed her baton and twirling ribbon during I Speak Six Languages. These bleachers are very sturdy and supported our entire cast and guest spellers. You need to provide own means to pick up the bleachers at our theatre, so local theatre programs are best buyers.
