David Lawrence was most recently part of Disney s television musical _x001c_ High School Musical_x001d_ as the writer (with Faye Greenberg) of the song _x001c_ Stick to the Staus Quo_x001d_ and composer of the original underscore. He has also composed the scores to _x001c_ American Pie_x001d_ , _x001c_ American Pie 2_x001d_ , _x001c_ Van Wilder_x001d_ , _x001c_ as well as _x001c_ Ambulance Girl_x001d_ , _x001c_ Pop Rocks_x001d_ , and the soon to be seen _x001c_ Cheetah Girls 2_x001d_ , to name but a few. His songs have been recorded and/or performed by Earth Wind & Fire, Diane Schuur, Catherine Cox, Ann-Margaret, Faith Prince and Raven. He is currently working with lyricist/wife Faye Greenberg on _x001c_ The Mall_x001d_ for MTV, on the original musical _x001c_ Big Rosemary_x001d_ , with a book by Blake Edwards and on perfecting daughter Mabel s soccer skills.
