Prior to joining MTI in 2016, Bert Fink served for over a quarter century with The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, most recently in London, where he was SVP/Europe and, before that, in R&H's home office in New York City. Fink began his career as a Broadway publicist, working with such legendary theatre luminaries as Cameron Mackintosh, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bob Fosse, and Jerome Robbins, and on the original Broadway companies of Cats, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunday in the Park with George, and others. Fink served on the Advisory Committee of the American Theater Wing for five years and was a Tony Awards Nominator. He taught musical theatre history at New York University, and has guest-lectured at museums, libraries, on board the Queen Mary 2, and at universities across the USA, the UK and in Europe. To date, Fink has seen over 150 MTI-licensed productions in 18 countries across Europe; his current record holder is Mamma Mia!, which he has heard in Czech, Dutch, Flemish, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Spanish, and Swiss-German.
